Wow, what a week! My co-editors, Mark Finn and Chris Gruber, and I are in Cross Plains, Texas for the annual Robert E. Howard Days celebration. We watched the last few hours of the Kickstarter in amazement here in the shadow of the house where Conan, Kull, and Solomon Kane were born. I can't think of a more appropriate location to launch our new adventure in weird fiction and dark fantasy.
We opened our box containing the thirty copies of the REH Days Limited Edition of issue 1 -- and man, did it feel great to hold it in hand. Many of the contributors to the issue are in attendance this weekend and will be signing the copies. In fact, I signed some of the first copies sitting at the desk of Two-Gun Bob himself!
The next few weeks we'll be putting the finishing touches on the regular version of issue 1 and they'll start shipping in July. Next week we'll be sending out a survey/questionnaire so that you can choose how to use your pledge amount. And we'll continue to keep you updated on the project as it progresses!
And if you want to follow our adventures at Howard Days the hashtag on Facebook and Twitter is #REHDays2016.
